esther van dijk is a visual designer and art director based in amsterdam/berlin. she studied business administration before moving to communication & multimedia design at hva amsterdam, and spent part of her studies in berlin, where a semester in film and motion design pulled her work toward fashion, editorial and moving image.
her practice runs across brand identity, art direction, graphic design and film.
minimal in structure, loud in colour. clean layouts and typography as the place where she experiments most. building a visual identity from nothing is the part she likes best.
clients include maap, damur, hogeschool van amsterdam, bekkenbodemhuis, studio sander and bakkerij koot. her work for damur was presented during berlin fashion week.
